Bamboo Sessions Sponsorship Policy
The Bamboo Sessions consistently works toward a sustainable and creative platform for songwriters, arrangers and musicians. We recognise
the importance of close involvement with artists, businesses and audience based in a local community.
Preferred Sponsors
We activelly seek to be associated with the following industries
- Renewable Energy Production (solar, wind, thermal etc.)
- Clean Energy Vehicles
- Music production companies involved with Creative Commons media production
- Slow Food and Nutrition
- Education
We will always show a preference to companies which are closely tied to the locality of the sponsored event.
We are interested in continued sponsorship and interaction as a method of making a positive difference to the local community.
Avoidance Criteria
Partnerships with companies involved in any of the following activities will be avoided:
- Tobacco, Alcohol and Gambling
- Pharaceutical Companies
- Firearms and weapons manufacture
- Fossil Fuel production and delivery
- Organisations involved in profting from education of non-falsifiable concepts
Non-Government Funded
The Bamboo Sessions does not seek or accept direct grants from government or agencies completed funded by government.
We are happy to work in association with organisations that do receive government funding, e.g. venues, artists.
We believe that government funding for the arts IS important, however we also believe that our policy is important in helping increase resources to important government funding for health and infrastructure.
Artistic Policy
The artistic independence of the Bamboo Sessions will not be influenced by any private or commercial donor.
Selection of artists, repetoire and venues will always be at the sole discretion of the Bamboo Sessions.
